Our FAQ

Are the services provided by the CyberPeace Builders free of charge?

The security assessment, alert program and access to volunteers are indeed free: protecting the most vulnerable is part of the raison d’être of our nonprofit and our theory of change towards cyberpeace. For organisations with additional needs that require dedicated resources on our part, we offer at-cost, cybersecurity services.

Is support from the CyberPeace Builders open to all nonprofits?

Eligibility is determined by the status and focus of the organization's work, as follows:

-The NPO must be recognized – in the country where the support is to be provided – as a non-profit or charitable entity, voluntary group, or institution with a social mission, operating independently from the government (although they may receive government funds)

-The NPO must provide critical services to populations and vulnerable communities, such as healthcare, water treatment and sanitation, food provision, energy supply, education, information and peace-building, environment, democracy, and similar areas.

The NGO can be based in any country, working at a national, regional, or international level. If you think that your NGO could be eligible for support from the CyberPeace Builders program, please contact our team, who will assess if you meet the criteria.

If I work for an NGO, what support can I get from the CyberPeace Builders?

This program is an opportunity to improve your NGO's cybersecurity by providing free access to industry-standard expertise to guide your decision-making. The program also allows you to upskill your staff, better understand cybersecurity risks and your threat profile, and take control by benefiting from concrete, actionable cybersecurity services that will enhance the security capabilities of your NGO.

We want to include you in our vibrant community. In the CyberPeace Builders community, you will be an active member of a local cybersecurity ecosystem, getting help when you need it and helping others facing similar challenges. It’s a community for NGOs to exchange ideas and build collective resilience together.

Together, our strength knows no bounds
